BRIEF

Kerryn, a registered clinical dietician was dissatisfied with her initial logos, which were overly floral and not professionally designed. They failed to resonate with her primary audience—referring doctors. Kerryn needed a logo that conveyed strength, professionalism, and legibility, while still reflecting her warm personality. She also sought a more modern and timeless design. Additionally, it was important to address the frequent mispronunciation of her name by reinforcing her initials. The peony, symbolising prosperity and bravery, was a key element she wished to include.

SOLUTION

To address these issues, we conducted a logo workshop, educating Kerryn on typography styling, gravitas, and color theory to align the design with her audience's expectations. The final logo features her initials, K and G, subtly forming a dancing figure with arms raised, representing hope and health. The peony was incorporated in a clean and modern way, ensuring it retained strength without being overly decorative. The colour palette, using coral for warmth with blush tones, alongside grey and navy for grounding in the clinical field, strikes a balance between femininity and professionalism, reflecting Kerryn’s caring nature and expertise.
